A little under a year ago, I lost my good friend Jeanine Oberholzer. She had fought Cystic Fibrosis her entire life and on April 4th, 2009 she lost her battle. She was a great woman and great friend and I miss her very much. I will always think of her when I eat chicken wings from Wing Stop. Only a handful of people will get that reference, but that’s ok. It was meant to make them smile. Back to point of this post. Jeanine’s husband, Tim, ran the 2009 Chicago Marathon in memory of Jeanine and as a fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He finished with his personal best marathon time (3:11:17. Impressive, I know) and qualified for the Boston Marathon. He also smashed his fund raising goal of $3000. The guy’s a goal smashing machine and now he’s at it again. He’s been gearing up for the Boston Marathon on April, 19th and the Psychic Chimp is tagging along.

This is Nicholas Moragues. I’m Jeanine’s brother and Tim’s brother-in-law. Just wanted to say thank you all for your support of Tim and his different events that help raise money for Cystic Fibrosis research. I too have CF and though we do this in Jeanine’s memory. I also have hope that these events can lead to a cure that could save and prolong my life. God Bless ya’ll
